Sistine Chapel Choir’s concert debut in Macau
Free admission tickets will be available from 6 September

The “Sistine Chapel Choir: Reverberating Heavenly Tunes in Greater China (Concert in Macau)” organized by the Coro Perosi, will be held on 19 September 2014 (Friday), 6pm, at the Cathedral of Macau. This is historically the Choir's first visit in Asia and their performances in Greater China will be in the order of Macau - Hong Kong - Taipei.

The Sistine Chapel Choir sings at all the Liturgical Celebrations of the Supreme Pontiff. Composed by adult singers and boys, the Choir is known throughout the world for their pure, beautiful harmony. They have chosen to perform in the Cathedral of Macau, where the Choir will bring traditional sacred music as well as warmth and joy to conduct cultural exchange with their heavenly voices.

Tickets are required for admission to the concert. Free admission tickets are available from the Livraria São Paulo (Travessa do Bispo, No. 11C, R/C) from 6 September (opening hours from 10am to 7pm except Monday). Distribution is limited to a maximum of two tickets per person. Seating is not assigned and is available on a first come, first serve basis. Ticket holders are requested to attend the concert 15 minutes prior.

The concert is sponsored by the Macau Foundation, Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macau S.A.R. Government and the Macau Government Tourist Office.
